The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting motorists the northbound and southbound Interstate 5 Willows Safety Roadside Rest Areas (SRRA) in Glenn County are scheduled to reopen late Monday, October 31.

The Willows Rest Areas feature upgraded wastewater, water and lighting systems and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

The fast chargers have universal connectors and serve all EVs on the market, including Teslas with an adapter. Charging is free with no time limit.

Caltrans advises recreational vehicle owners the waste disposal stations are no longer available at the Willows rest areas.
