Traffic Timing: Avoid driving through Eugene between 7-9 AM and 4-6 PM on weekdays. The stretch between exits 189-194A can back up significantly, especially near the I-105 split. If you're passing through mid-day, you'll save time.
Watch for Speed Traps: Oregon State Police frequently patrol the stretch between Eugene and Cottage Grove (especially near Creswell). Stick to 65 mph—Oregon is strict about speeding enforcement.
