Going on right now and continuing through summer 2026, the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration marks seven decades and counting of The Happiest Place on Earth with limited-time festivities across the resort. From grand spectacles and décor to special treats and more, many of the offerings reflect the precious memories and distinctive feeling of joy that guests – for generations – have felt upon stepping into Disneyland.

New Magic and Decorative Details

  • On Toy Story Midway Mania! in Disney California Adventure Park, guests can look out for 70th anniversary “stickers” that Andy has stuck in different places along the midway, including among the targets in the attraction’s carnival games. The stickers not only enhance the décor, but also guests’ scores. There will be targets worth 700 or 7,000 points, plus additional “Celebrate Happy” stickers.
  • New media will debut in the Animation Courtyard at Disney California Adventure Park for the first time in 10 years. The six animated films joining the rotation are “Encanto,” “Coco,” “Soul,” “The Princess and the Frog,” Zootopia” and “Moana.”
  • The Key to Disneyland is an all-new souvenir that enables guests to activate special features while visiting nine lock stations across Disneyland Park. Once all stations are “unlocked,” the key will reveal one of nine hidden commemorative trading pins inside.
  • MagicBand+ will unlock unique effects around the resort, including five interaction points in the original lands of Disneyland Park, during select entertainment experiences – such as “Paint the Night” – and when in close proximity to certain pieces of décor in Disney California Adventure Park and Downtown Disney District. Visit Disneyland.com for more information about features and how to purchase MagicBand+.
  • In the esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, a 50-foot sculpture inspired by Sleeping Beauty Castle features charms representing the five original lands that opened on July 17, 1955: Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland and Fantasyland.
  • Decorative 70th celebration icons and medallions will be displayed at Disneyland Hotel, Downtown Disney District and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, offering unique backdrops for photos with friends and family.
  • A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour explores the rich heritage of Disneyland Park, from opening day attractions to the latest innovations. More information on booking the two-hour experience can be found on Disneyland.com

Entertainment and Spectaculars

In addition to marquee entertainment like “World of Color Happiness!,” “Paint the Night” parade, “Wondrous Journeys” and “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!,” the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration also presents experiences such as:

  • A visual love letter to Disneyland Park, “Tapestry of Happiness” brings the façade of “it’s a small world” to life through music and projection effects. Quintessential Disneyland attractions, music and moments such as the classic Fantasyland dark rides, Disneyland Railroad, Main Street Electrical Parade and more come together in an animated mosaic inspired by the art style of legendary Disney artist Mary Blair.
  • “The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade” at Disneyland Park features character friends not often seen at Disneyland, like Duffy and ShellieMay. The swirling ribbons of gold and silver over layers of multicolored organza featured in the characters’ special looks for the celebration draw inspiration from the colorful, painterly style of the celebration logo.
  • “Celebrate Happy: A Little Bit of Magic Every Night” illuminates the exterior of Carthay Circle Restaurant at Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park with twinkling lights and projection effects as Tinker Bell kickstarts a recurring celebratory moment.
  • Dining packages include reserved viewing for select entertainment during the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, such as the Paint the Night dining package at Plaza Inn, Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! Parade Dessert Party and World of Color Happiness! Dessert Party. Advanced reservations are highly recommended and can be booked on Disneyland.com

Select shows, performances, and experiences, including parades and nighttime spectaculars, will temporarily pause to make way for seasonal entertainment offerings, then resume at later dates. Check the Disneyland app or Disneyland.com for entertainment schedules.
