The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that I-5 on the Interstate Bridge will close in one direction each night thru July 16 for routine bridge inspections and maintenance.
I-5 Closure schedule:
- Wednesday, July 15, and Thursday, July 16: Northbound I-5 will close 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Crews completed inspection and maintenance work under the bridge earlier this summer using a barge on the Columbia River. Work on the top side of the bridge requires crews and equipment on the bridge deck and periodic lift openings. This work is being done at night to reduce traffic impacts.

- Use Interstate 205.
