I-5 travelers passing through Portland, Oregon should be aware of the following construction project that may have an impact on their trip.
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that the southbound I-5 off-ramp to SE Belmont Street in Portland will be closed at nights September 8 through September 19.
The ramp will be closed from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. each weeknight. During the closures, traffic will be detoured across the Morrison Bridge downtown, then back across the bridge to SE Belmont.
This closure is for work related to Multnomah County’s Morrison Bridge Strengthening Project.Â
