The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports the following I-5 work that will have an impact on traveling through the area. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
On Sunday night, expect some slowdowns, lane changes, and slower speeds as crews move traffic back to the northbound side of I-5.
What to expect the night of August 2:
- Traffic shift starts around 9:00 p.m. on August 2.
- Work finishes by 5:00 a.m. on August 3.
- Southbound I-5 traffic stays unaffected in the area.
- Please slow down and watch for crews in the work zone.
After the shift, crews will keep paving the northbound lanes. Drivers may see some lane closures.
Crews will also finish reconnecting the on- and off-ramps at Commercial Street and Delaney Road, clean up the construction areas, and complete the final landscaping.
Pay attention in work zones, slow down, and move over—imagine this is where you work. Always drive safely and watch for signs and workers.
Fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers or signs are present or not.
