The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) reports the following traffic alerts on I-5 from Vancouver to the Canadian border. All construction activity is weather dependent and subject to change.
- The Seatac Rest Area northbound on I-5 at milepost 140 is closed for maintenance from 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15, to noon on Friday, December 19.
- The Silver Lake Rest Area on I-5 at milepost 188.5 is closed indefinitely, with no RV dumping available.
- Changes are coming to the I-5 interchange in DuPont (milepost 118.64 to 119.33). Mid-January expected to begin construction.
- Northbound I-5 off-ramp to NE 130th Street, milepost 173.86, will be closed during weekends in December.
- Construction is happening between mileposts 210 and 215 near Secret Creek in Stanwood, affecting traffic lanes.
- Lanes will close nightly for construction between mileposts 240 and 246 near the Alger and Nulle Road exits from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., through to Friday, December 19.
