Ramp Closures, Detours for I-5 Construction in Washington This Week

I-5 Washington Road Closed | I-5 Exit Guide

The Washington State Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with major I-5 construction projects that could change your travel plans around Puget Sound this week.

  • Monday, April 18, to the morning of Wednesday, April 20 – The northbound I-5 off-ramp (exit 135) to northbound SR 167 will close from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. nightly. Signed detours will be in place.
  • Monday, April 18, to the morning of Tuesday, April 19 – The southbound SR 167 on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close from 10:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Signed detours will be in place.
  • Thursday, April 21, to the morning of Friday, April 22 – The southbound SR 167 on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close from 10:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Signed detours will be in place.
  • Wednesday, April 20, to the morning of Thursday, April 21 – The Port of Tacoma Road on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
