I-5 Lane Closures all Weekend for RealTime Sign Construction

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that there will be a 24/7 closure of the right lane on southbound I-5 from 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 11, to 6:00 a.m. Monday, July 14, as they begin to install new RealTime signs.

This weekend we will build the sign structure foundations for new RealTime signs. The lane closure will cause congestion and delays on I-5 south.

I-5 Closure Details:

The right lane closure will be in place throughout the weekend from 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 11, to 6:00 a.m. Monday, July 14, on southbound I-5 from SW Corbett Avenue (exit 299) to SW Terwilliger Boulevard (exit 297). All ramps will remain open. Expect delays and use caution when driving through the work zone.

Weekend lane closures on I-5 will repeat up to three more times in the coming weeks.
