The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that, as part of their I-5 paving project, they will be closing the on and off-ramps at I-5 Exit 209 to Harrisburg while they pave and install striping.

I-5 Exit 209 On and Off-ramp Closures

August 3 through August 8, ODOT will be working at night to pave and apply striping on the I-5 Exit 209 to Diamond Hill Road on and off-ramps.

You can detour around the closed ramps by using the exit before or after, depending on where you’re going. We’ll keep the ramps open during the day and will only close one ramp at a time.

You can expect:

  • Crews working mostly at night, Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
  • Occasional Saturday night bridge work.
  • Some daytime work as needed.
  • Single lane closures between 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
  • Construction noise and delays.
  • A reduced speed limit to 55 mph in the work zone.
  • No lane changes allowed where there are double white lines.
