The Oregon Department of Transportation has been working to repair the I-5 connector bridge in Cottage Grove. The next stage in this project is to replace the bridge surface and pave approaching road. To do this they are closing the road for 10 days.

It is estimated that the road closure to start on May 1, but the work is weather dependent and the schedule may change.

I-5 Travelers Should Plan Ahead

During the closure there are alternate routes and detours for passenger cars and freight trucks.
