Mt. Baldy Zip Line | I-5 Exit Guide

Planning your next road Trip? MT. BALDY SKI LIFTS Inc. has opened a new Zip Line Ride. It is located in MT. Baldy, CA, only one hour from downtown Los Angeles. After obtaining a permit from The US Forest Service to operate a new Zip Line attraction, MT. Baldy is excited for this unique experience. The experience begins at an alpine elevation of 6400ft at the top of MT. Baldy Rd. at the MT. Baldy Ski Lifts where initial check-in will begin. From there, guests proceed to the Sugar Pine Chair Lift where they will take a 15 minute chairlift ride to the top of San Antonio Canyon filled with large pine trees and beautiful views of steep mountain sides with the sounds of chirping birds to round out this mountain experience.

When guests arrive at the top, they will find the Top of the Notch restaurant and check in for the Desert View Zip Race Lines. Redemption of the zip experience begins with getting geared up and receiving initial safety instructions. After gearing up, guests will make the short trek (approximately 300 yards) to the top of the Desert View Zip Race Lines approximately 8000ft above sea level consisting of 4 side by side 650ft zip lines that they will race their companions across the Gulch below.

After zipping, there are many options to further enhance the day before taking the ride down the Sugar Pine Chair Lift. Grab a bite to eat at the Top of the Notch, a round of disc golf or a short or long hike. MT. Baldy hosts many hiking trails for all levels of hikers.
