Alta Lake State Park – Pateros, WA

Alta Lake State Park is about 4 miles from the town of Pateros, WA and 30 miles from Lake Chelan. It’s a nice park, lots of tall pines, a small lake for fishing, swimming, wind surfing and while not recommended, water skiing.

There are two sections for RVs. The first loop on the right as you enter the park has about 17 sites with electricity and water. Unfortunately few are level – the back in sites slope forward and the pull-thrus lean to the right. The pull-thrus are the best…
