California: Full I-5 Highway Closure From CA 152 to CA 33 in Merced County

California Construction | I-5 Exit GuideThe California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various road construction and bridge activities on Interstate 5 (I-5) from State Route 152 (SR-152) (south of Canal Road) to SR-33 (south of McCabe Road).

Work will occur as follows:
– Crews will close northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) at SR-152 (south of Canal Road) beginning Thursday, November 13, 2014, through Friday, November 14, 2014, from 12:00 a.m. (midnight) to 5:00 a.m.;
– The northbound and southbound on-ramps from Interstate 5 to State Route 33 will close beginning Wednesday, November 12, 2014, through Friday, November 14, 2014, from 12:00 a.m. (midnight) until 6:00 a.m.;
– Crews will close southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) from SR-33 (south of McCabe Road) to SR-152 (south of Canal Road) beginning Thursday, November 13, 2014, through Friday, November 14, 2014, from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.;
– The connector ramp on I-5 at SR-152 will close beginning Wednesday, November 12, 2014, through Friday, November 14, 2014, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
