The Riverfront project on Interstate 5 near downtown Sacramento will continue nighttime ramp closures and lane restrictions for the rest of January and into late February.

The I-5 section from north of U.S. Highway 50 to just south of Richards Boulevard is scheduled for nightly pavement work that will last into the early morning. Caltrans contractors will continue to work on southbound and northbound I-5 as weather and temperatures permit.

The daily schedule is from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Friday.

Caltrans urges all motorists to use an alternate route, expect additional travel times and/or delays.
